CiRCo’s Viaggio Premieres
Viaggio,
iL CiRCo’s newest production, premiered to wildly
enthusiastic special event audiences in January. This show
blurs the boundaries between theatre and circus with brilliant
new music, theatrics, and a richly-textured story line. “Marionetta”
beckons the audience to join a magical journey (or viaggio)
to a mysteriously ethereal place. As characters come to life
and fill the stage with color and whimsy, acrobats deliver
show-stopping performances.

Marionetta's
Puppet Show
|
Marionetta
stands 12 feet tall and contains a fully-functioning proscenium
stage within the front of her beautiful dress. On this miniature
stage, a troupe of marionettes replicates the characters from
the Viaggio story. Marionetta is
unlike anything that has been seen in the special events market
or in a public theatre. Now you can incorporate a completely
new interactive experience in your special events…include
Marionetta in your next event and watch the magic unfold!
The conceptualization,
design, and fabrication of Marionetta is
a fascinating and inspiring story. In a future issue of our
newsletter, we’ll take you behind the scenes to meet
the artist who created this fantastic work of art.

Suspended nearly one hundred feet over the ice, the artists
performed thrilling acrobatics while surrounding the enormous
four-sided scoreboard. Hockey fans were treated to a most
unique experience as the arena’s new centerpiece was
revealed.
