Imagination Entertainment Delights PCMA Audience - iL CiRCo Kicks off a Memorable Conference in Anaheim

January 15, 2003

The PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) annual meeting was held in Anaheim January 5-8, providing a unique opportunity to host 2800 meeting planners and hospitality industry professionals in this virtually “all new” destination. What better way to introduce these changes than with an edgy, exciting performance by IE’s iL CiRCo?

iL CiRCo performers delighted guests as they made their way to the opening reception, in a long “walkway du cirque” featuring a variety of disciplines from contortion to ball-walking to juggling. With this dramatic approach to moving the crowd, guests immediately understood that this would not be an ordinary event.

PCMA is made up of a group of people who have seen and done it all, yet it was Anaheim’s mission to impress this well traveled group. An elaborate décor design was produced by our colleagues at EventWorks Access California, with the iL CiRCo stage as the centerpiece. The crowd was captivated by the strength, beauty and grace of the troupe’s acrobatic performances, including a gorgeous aerial lyre act, and our exclusive Chinese Poles number featuring nine performers.

Charles Ahlers, President of the Anaheim VCB wanted to showcase Anaheim’s new look, and with this emphasis, he felt that Imagination Entertainment’s iL CiRCo was a perfect fit.

The event was covered in the Los Angeles Times. Click here for the full story..
